Kristin Broadwell

Welcome to my website. I love animals, fashion, farmers markets, Pinterest and spending time on the beach with my family and friends.  I enjoy volunteering with my church with the Angel Tree which is a a program of Prison Fellowship where we reach out to the children whose parents have been incarcerated and their families with the love of Christ.

I love to create my own stories and in 2012, I founded Banker Pony Pictures and produced my first short film, "A Wish Your Heart Makes." This film went on to screen at multiple film festivals and won the Bronze Remi Award for Creative Excellence at WorldFest Houston.  I also wrote and produced a comedic webseries along with Urban Doe Productions titled, "Vendors." We were accepted to the "Womens Only Entertainment Film Festival" and were a winner in the "IndieFest Film Awards." I know what it is like to work not only as an actor but behind the scenes as a writer, producer, editor and in marketing.

Majoring in Elementary Education and receiving a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology, I am a firm believer in education. I am an East Carolina University alumni.  In 2007, I began to pursue theater in Chicago. I have studied Theatre/ Drama at the world-leading Drama school at the renowned

Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.  I am a proud graduate of the Second City Conservatory and in 2014 I was accepted to the summer ensemble program at the prestigious School at Steppenwolf.  This accolade awarded the opportunity to be taught by members of Steppenwolf Theaters' widely acclaimed ensemble and guest instructors.

I have been in many theatrical productions in Chicago and independent films in various film festivals around the world.

Thank you for visiting my website.
