A BIT ABOUT ME

I love to create my own stories and I know what it’s like to work not only as an actor but behind the scenes as a filmmaker - writing, producing, and editing content. My most recent accomplishment is PAPER PEOPLE PLAY, an award-winning web series for children and families.

I have also written, produced and acted in various films including “A Wish Your Heart Makes (Winner, Bronze Remi Award- WorldFest Houston) and “Vendors,” a comedic 10-episode web series about three diverse female vendors who meet at a Chicago neighborhood market..

My most recent role was playing BETH MCKINNON in the emmy nominated series, Better Call Saul on AMC. I also played a leading role in "Who Stole The Tasmanian Devils" starring Grayson Berry and Quinton Aaron from the Academy Award-nominated movie, "The Blind Side.

It feels good to create stories for children and inspire their imaginations. My sister Brooke and I created Paper People Play to give back and inspire children and families to bond together using art and theatre.

Using my experience as a Kindergarten and First Grade teacher and my sisters' as an artist we created a show that combines our skill sets to encourage a creative outlet for children. We use hand-painted paper dolls to teach moral lessons and tell stories. All of our paper dolls and costumes are hand-painted with watercolors and we offer these downloadable toys to the community so children play along and create their own adventures.

Building on children’s natural motivation to play, we support play-based learning that uses play as a framework for children to explore, discover, and solve problems in a playful and imaginative way.

I voice, produce and direct "Paper People Play" with my sister creating the artwork for the show.

Training

I studied Theatre/ Drama at the world-leading Drama school at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.  I am a proud graduate of the

Second City Conservatory and in 2014, I was accepted to the summer ensemble program at the prestigious School at Steppenwolf

This accolade awarded the opportunity to be taught by members of Steppenwolf Theaters' widely acclaimed ensemble and guest instructors.

I have been in many theatrical productions in Chicago and independent films in various film festivals around the world.
